Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide analytics to site operators. Poly Terminal uses a minimal set of cookies — only what's necessary to operate the product and understand how it's being used.
Cookies we use
| Cookie name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| pt_session | Essential | Session | Maintains your authenticated session. Required for the terminal to function. |
| pt_theme | Functional | 1 year | Remembers your dark/light theme preference. |
| pt_workspace | Functional | 1 year | Stores your workspace layout and market watchlist configuration. |
| _analytics | Analytics | 90 days | Privacy-preserving usage analytics to help us improve the product. No personal data shared with third parties. |
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled. They include session management cookies that keep you authenticated and workspace cookies that remember your configuration between sessions.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember your preferences such as your chosen theme and workspace layout. They are not strictly required, but disabling them means your preferences will not be remembered between sessions.
Analytics cookies
We use privacy-preserving analytics to understand how the terminal is used — which features are used most, where users drop off, and what pages are visited. This data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking platforms that share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Third-party cookies
We do not allow third-party advertising cookies on our platform. Some third-party services we integrate (such as payment processors) may set their own cookies, which are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Managing cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish via your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them on a per-site basis
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies from being set (though this will break most websites)
Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent Poly Terminal from functioning correctly. Disabling analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use the product.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, if changes are material, notify users via email or a notice on the site.
