Privacy Policy

1. Overview

PolyTerminal ("we", "us") runs this website at poly-terminal.com and the terminal, a trading interface for Polymarket. This policy explains what data is involved, why, and what you can ask of us. We keep data to the minimum needed to run the Service.

2. This website

The website is static. It does not ask you to sign in and does not set cookies of its own.
The calculators run in your browser. What you type stays on your device; it is put in the page address after the # sign so you can share a link, and browsers do not send that part to servers.
Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as your IP address, the page requested and the browser type, to serve the pages and to keep the site secure.
We may measure visits with privacy-preserving, cookie-free analytics. If we do, we count page views in aggregate and do not build profiles of individuals.
If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message.

3. The terminal

To trade, you sign in and connect a crypto wallet through Privy. Depending on how you use it, the data involved can include:

Sign-in details that Privy handles, such as an email address or a login method, and your wallet address.
Wallet and trading data that is public by design on Polymarket and on blockchains, such as your wallet address, orders, positions and transfers.
Settings you choose, such as theme, language, layout and watchlists, usually kept in your browser.
Technical data such as IP address and device and browser information, used for security, abuse prevention and Polymarket's geoblock check.

We never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Do not send them to anyone.

4. How we use data

To run, secure and improve the Service.
To check whether the Service is available in your region.
To answer your messages.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

We share data only with:

Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting and Privy for sign-in. They process data for us under their own terms.
Polymarket, because your orders and account activity are sent to Polymarket. Its privacy policy governs what it does with them.
Authorities when the law requires it.
A successor if the Service is transferred to someone else.

Blockchain and Polymarket data is public and not under our control.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Data on public blockchains and at Polymarket cannot be deleted by us.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or to object to or limit its use. Write to hello@poly-terminal.com. For data held by Polymarket, Privy or your wallet provider, contact them.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and limit who can reach data. No system is perfectly secure. Protect your wallet and devices, and report a security problem to hello@poly-terminal.com.

10. Children

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you think we have, write to us and we will remove it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When a change is material we will say so on this website and update the date above.
